Abstract

This project report is purely based on the advances computer science and the IT management ,

the project title is “ Website Development project” to build the website based on E-business”

the main point objective of this research is to create the depth analyzed for the depth of the field

for e-business as well we tried to explore the different opportunities and all the condition that are

further helpful for the successful building of the E-business website based on the employment of

the information technology.

In this report we used the followed approached for the development of the website, and that

discuss the literature in detail that describe the related work in a depth spectrum in terms of E-

business that has the major impact in out world and in the growing market. Hence the literature

review guides us to examine the different technical dimensions that has the major effect in the

human aspects and activities. Therefore, it is importance to understand all the contextual

activities. Each project success and failure based on the efficient implementation. Hence the fail

and success of e business is the highly complicated problem. finally, in the last section we

demonstrate the comparison between different websites techniques. this would be helpful to

examine the strong points and avoided the faults in the techniques. moreover, these

methodologies apply on the website.

In another section we will demonstrate the methodology that is using throughout the project

implementation, objective and goals are also described in detail. Hence the major issues are
analyzed that could occur during the implementation or in the methodology that is used in the

project. Further the for the evaluation of the website, the research analyzed the model that is

suitable for the e-business.

Introduction

The growing technology paying the huge effect in the human society and rapidly affecting out

daily life in different ways. This era is the technological breakthrough, since the previous 2

decades, the different revolutions occur such as communication, business methods, entertainment

and different practices[1]. After the invention of the internet in 60s, the technology rate is

increasing more rapidly hence the computer network became the essential part in human life as

well as it involves to the most and the important association between the different firms,

companies, business, government and the individual. internet facilities exceed the overall

limitations, the restrictions of the cost, and cross all the boundaries. Moreover, now the internet

facility is accessible for everyone, providing a bigger technology in very low costs. Hence these

technologies allow the people to compete the greater number of people and give the perfect

environment for the enterprises[2].

Hence with the growth of the internet and its population in this era, this clear the concept that the

business world will take over this phenomenon. Therefore, most of the companies are now

focusing to find out the solutions for the implementations in a n electronic way of transaction and

communication for their traditional business methods. Hence rapidly the industries are now

transforming their business traditional method s and the implementations in digital ways. For

example, online communication, application, biometric, psychometric test and preparation of

databased for each vacancies and candidates, are the major changes that are adopted by using the

internet facilities as well as vastly in used in the filed of employment[3].

The huge development of the internet has basic reasons for example people used it for job

searching, and it is highly linked with the nature. Hence it also provides the less costs for firms to

train the employee and therefore it almost free to search out the suitable vacancy for the

candidates. Moreover, the internet provides some matched to firms and employees that they

access the internet, and give motivation to exchange the important information with each other.

Hence the useful information is collected by searching different websites through the internet.

Therefore, according to the research, it has been observed that only 75% of the job information is

get by the websites instead of the traditional methods such as newspapers, reports of

connections[4].

E-Business definition

With the technology of the internet and its growing rate transform the business in traditional

method to the digital method. At first in 1997, the E-business concept is introducing that is

defined and “the transformations of the major process of the business by using the internet

technologies”. According to the researcher “the E-business are the exchanges of all the

electronic mediations” another demonstrates that the “E-business is the use of internet in intra or

inter organization for the information technology to complete the process of the business. Hence

in short, the E-business is an internet business where each activity is transformed in to the

external and internal relationships for the creation of the values and that feat the opportunities of

the market and derived the new rules for the economy connections[5].
History of E-Business

Hence form all the reality of the E-business, the e-business is now become the major trend in this

era, hence in this section we briefly discuss the history of the e-business that cover the different

everts. In 1995, the web concept is rapidly growing and is considered to be the most profitable

period for the e business companies. Hence to setup a e-business with fully functional was easy

to implement and have efficient costs and provide the successful and profit guarantee.

Therefore, the e-business is rapidly growing and adopted by each individual is becoming

common[6]. Hence over the time, its growing rate is increasing over the peak and the rate of the

profit, opportunities, and the financial growth potential was capped as well. This innovation

makes the huge collapse of the E-business companies. hence according the expectations, after

few years the companies will make different strategies and move their business towards the e-

business methodologies. Hence the growth rate for the increasing the digital level is also

increased over time[7].

Scope of the project

With the explicit growth rate of the E-business form the previous decades, the digital

technologies get the intention in all field either academic or the researchers’ fields. Hence to

recognize the distinctions between the E-business that complies the diversities of the internet

businesses. Hence in this report we will examine the practical implementation of the project

hence the E-business followed the same previous patterns and technology’s such as “at first the

technologies are developed and then these are commercially exploited”. However, when these

are exploit commercially then these technologies spreading the causing the cultural, socially and

political problems[8].
Moreover, the major goal for the development of the E-Business is to create for the IT

employment, the report purpose is to examine the development technical side for building the

website of e-business. Hence our research work tried to analyze the strategies and the languages

for the E-businesses and the logics behind the success[9].

Aims and objectives

 As E-business is growing rapidly and is highly accepted as well as the paradigm of the

used business. The business houses as well as other domains are building websites for

giving the performing functionalities for the commercial transactions. Hence, we can say

that the shopping process over web in now become the common platform

 The major objective of this projective to implement the general purpose for e-commerce

store where the qualitative products such as cloths are easy to access and bought from

any place just by using the internet. Hence for the implementation of the project, we

work collaboratively for the buying the online catalog.

 As the online-shopping is a type of virtual stores over the internet, where each customer

bought the branded dresses, catalog according to their interest. Hence all the selected

items are placed in the cart that is used for shopping. Further, in time of the checkout, the

item from the clothes shopping carts are shows as the order. Hence, at the end the more

information is required for completing the transactions. Mostly, the customers are

required to fill the billing addresses for the shipping addresses or shipping options for

getting the information regarding the payment for instance, a card numbers , a
 notifications for email or mobile are sent to the client when the transaction process is

completed and the order is placed successfully[10].

Technology, Tools and programming Languages Used

Scripting on Client and server-side

A scripting on client-side associated with the program class that is executed on web browser of

users. This kind of scripting allows the webpages to show the products material that are highly

dependent on the input of users. Hence different website scripting is surrounded around the

documents of the HTML and CSS that is linked with the document which can be useable.

Therefore, when client request for something in the browser for the specific item. the requested

item for document can be viewed by in the screen this can be done by the execution of the

scripting on the user’s browser. Moreover, the client-side scripting can be done by using the

programming’s languages that help to support the web browsers. The languages such as Java

script, VB script etc. Are used in client side scripting

Furthermore, the server side scripting is displayed its pages in the execution of the hot server,

this help to give the immediate response on based on the customer requested requirement.

Therefore, to enable these scripting that is generated on the client way php language used.

JavaScript

E-commerce project we used the JavaScripting, that is a scripting on the client side used to

support all the major web browsers on the web browsers. in 1995 that java scripting is

developed used in the Firefox and chrome. for the user enhancement the java script is used in
large quantity. Java scripting is provided as open source and is implanted with HTML provide

the support for websites.

PHP

PHP is an open source and is stand for Hypertext Preprocessor. This language is used in server

side and highly used for the development of the websites. This language is used on server side

and connected with the database of MYSQL, by combining we get the dynamic webpage. Php

provides the compatibility for the operating systems and support the servers. Calendar, events

and blogs are created with help of php.

MYSQL

MySQL is stand for the structured Query Languages that is mainly a relational database

management system. this is the famous open source that used in databased to create the

applications of web, however freely available for public. MYSQL used in highly request because

of its beneficial results such as fast performances, fastest reliabilities and the usage of the system.

MYSQL consists of contains the data in high range and wider range of compilers are processes

for supporting the languages for scripting and different platform. MYSQL support the languages

and programs libraries for different clients. This is basically a highly interactive language used

to get the related information from the databases.

Project description

Description

 Any client/ customer is allowed to access the website, and can registered and see all the

available products.

 When the client register himself, then only the registered member is allowed to purchase

the various products irrespective of quantity.

In the website the contact us form is available for contacting the admin in case of any query.

There are 3 major roles available in the project Visitor, User, Admin

1. The available products views by the visitor

2. The user can buy or view the availability of the products.

3. The admin plays some extra role that includes the treat the visitor and user. however,

admin perform various functions such as

 Products can be added by the admin moreover, the editing of the product

information and the removal of the product is handles by admin

 Admin is responsible to add, edit, remove the user or information.

 Admin responsibility is to ship the placed order on their given addresses

and send them the confirmation email as well.

1. The databased is attached with the “SQL server management studio express”
2. On website the webapplication run on the MS-visual studios

Project detail

E-business for online shopping described the layer structure that demonstrate different languages
which are used for the implementation of project. Hence for the presentation lay the (CSS,
HTML, ASP.Net) is used for accessing the database layer MS SQL Server is used for recording
the updates regarding the websites products.
SYSTEM REUIQRMENT

Online Shopping Application

In this application, everyone can easily view the portal for shopping and all the product that are

available, hence for approaching the website each used must need to login by putting the inputs

and password for the order to purchase or to place the order. Unregister member must need to
register for navigation of the page registrations. Hence only the admin can access to the system

for modification purpose so for the admin the defaulted role is “Admin” and for the User Side

the defaulted role is “User”.

 Homepage: this is first view of screen where the customer can purchase through the

web home page that is showing in the website.

 Clothing Pages: in this page we added all the detail pf the products, this page is similar

for the users and visitors.

 Order us Page: this page contains the different order of the products from website.

 Contact-us page: is used by the visitor and register for placing any query for contacting

the owners of website or the administrators.

 About Us Page: this page explains all the detail about the website products and the

owner of website.

 Track Page: this page will track all the shipping orders from here.

 Register pages: the new member of the page is added form this page.

 Log in Page: login pages are used by both admin and user for entering the website and

viewing the products.

 Admin Page: the admin role is different from other role of users and admin, hence the

role of admin and user will be checked when anybody enter the login and session, hence

if the identifications are matched to admin than placing role is admin, and in case

identification matched to user then the role will be “User”.

Management of the Data

Data Description

For the management of the data, the database is consisting of few tables such as

 Users: the information belonging to the user and admin will be stored in the database by

representing the unique ID assigning to their roles.

 Shopping: the whole detail will be added in this table of data base

 Orders: customers ordered several products, and their product status and on the tables

all information related to delivery is saved.

 User: ID, Username, Password, Email, Role

 Shopping: ID, Products, Cost, Category, Image, Description

 Orders: ID, Client, Product, Quantity, Price, Data, Order shipped

Non-Functional and operations requirement

 Security: Th website pages must be accessible in a way that is supposed to be accesses,

hence to make that outside will not be accessible in the website in an authorized way. The

administration task can only be performed by the administration other than administration
 no one is allowed to enter in the websites modifying modules. Similarly, customers are

not allowed to access the administration pages.

 Maintainability and efficiency: To make that load pages are maintained and returned in

timely fashions that are basically depending upon the request that is made by client. The

administration role has the abilities to modify the website when needed to reedit all the

forms of order in all aspects, provide the descriptions for the products as well as the cost

of each products.

Conclusion

In this era of technology, the internet has become the major source for the e-Businesses, hence

the digital shopping now become the trends and provide the significance for each entrepreneur

and also provide the facilities regarding the customer demands. Hence more entrepreneur is now

preferred to use to electronic business for enhancing their business and gain the opportunities for

each customer. Electronic digitals make it possible to purchase the products by sitting at home.

Furthermore, according to the research work the website design is also the main attribute to catch

the customers towards their products. Hence if the website looks poor in presentation the

customers likely to skip the shopping because of its irregular making modules. Therefor

designing the project website is the basic element for the user satisfaction. In this research work,

the users are given the e-businesses that can easily buy the catalog. Hence for the implementation

of the website we used the languages such as CSS, HTML, ASP.NET that gives the several

advantages for increasing the performances, to achieve the scalability, to get the security and the

level of simplicity.
Hence to creating the website we need the programming languages such as (C#, VB.NET, J#)

this are the basic languages that are used for building the applications. And for the client-side

detail is done with the ASP.NET, furthermore the database is accessible by the ADO.Net that

eliminate the redundant data. Hence for the backend database the SQL is used for the connection

between the database.

This project is fully interactive that create the web pages by using the latest technologies for the

implementations. Hence for designing the project, the project contains the data mode this model

is processed for the illustrations about how the tables will be build in the databased. The

webpage is are modified according to the changings and upcoming trends in the market.
