TRAINING – CUM - EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES

STEAG Energy Services India – 100% subsidiary of STEAG Energy Services GmbH, Germany,
is a recognized provider of engineering and O&M services in power sector in India and abroad.
This unique scheme is aimed at providing high quality training in all aspects of thermal power
plant engineering and O&M with guaranteed employment with the Company. Training shall be
provided at our Learning Centre at Noida (U.P) which is recognized by Government of India
(CEA) under Indian Electricity Rules. It is now proposed to induct new batches of trainees.

Details of scheme are as under:

1. Eligibility and Training fee

Graduate Engineer AICTE recognized Mechanical, Electrical, Rs. One Lakh


Trainees (GETs) – Instrumentation and Electronics Engineering Fifty Thousand
Two batches of 25 graduates with minimum 65% marks in aggregate
candidates in each and age not exceeding 24 years as on 1st April,
batch 2016.

Diploma Engineer AICTE recognized three years diploma in Rs. One Lakh
Trainees (DETs) – Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation and
One batch of 30 Electronics Engineering with minimum 65% marks in
candidates aggregate and age not exceeding 24 years as on 1st
April, 2016.

Note: Candidates appearing for final year’s examination of degree/diploma may also apply and
their selection would be subject to securing 65% marks in aggregate in qualifying
degree/diploma before joining the training.

2. Type, duration, date of commencement of training, fee and stipend

I. Type of Training: Sandwich course combining theoretical and practical training followed
by on the job training. On successful completion of training, a certificate to this effect as
per provisions of Indian Electricity Rules shall be issued.

II. Duration: 6 months sandwich course followed by another 6 month live project exposure
at corporate office and/or various O&M sites of the Company.

III. Date of Commencement of Training ;

• GETs 1st batch – 4th July 2016


• GETs 2nd batch – 2nd January 2017
• DETs 26th September 2016
IV. Fee
GETs: INR 1,50,000 payable in two installments - Rupees One Lakh will become payable
before joining the training program and the balance Rupees Fifty thousand will become
payable in the sixth month of the training.
DETs: INR 1,00,000 (Rs. One lakh only) payable in two equal installments – INR 50,000
(Rs Fifty Thousand) will become payable before joining the training program and the
balance Rupees Fifty thousand will become payable in the sixth month of the training.
V. Stipend: After Six months of training GETs shall be paid a stipend of Rupees Ten
thousand per month for a period of six months and DETs shall be paid stipend at the rate
Rupees Eight thousand per month for six months.

3. Appointment : After successful completion of one year sandwich program candidates shall
be absorbed in the company as detailed below

4. Selection: Short listed candidates will be called for written examination followed by
interview on 04th and 05th June 2016 at 10 AM. Results shall be notified on 17th June,
2016 in the company website. Successful candidates would be required to pass the
medical test as per format attached.

5. Submission of document and fees: Acceptance of offer, Medical Report and a Bank
draft of Rs. 1,00,000.00 (Rs. One lakh only) in case of GETs and a bank draft of Rs.
50,000 (Rs. Fifty thousand Only) in case of DETs, in favour of STEAG Energy Services
(India) Pvt. Ltd., payable at Noida/ New Delhi should be sent by the selected candidates
to our Corporate office in Noida by Courier by 1st July, 2016 and 2nd installment of fee
Rs.50,000 will be due during sixth month of training.

If the fee from the selected candidates is not received as per the above schedule,
opportunity shall be extended to waitlisted candidates. All successful candidates who
fulfill these requirements shall be asked to report on the dates of commencement of
training as indicated in item 2 above.
