Mahadik's are supposed as the Branch of Migrated Rajput Rulers of Chittoud in

Rajastan and they are the Maratha Kshatriya's Stem.
Mahadik is well known for their service under Sultanets of Deccan like Maratha 96
clans and they were prominent chieftains of that kingdom.
Later, they served Maratha Empire by bravery and moreover they were relatives of
kings of Satara,Kolhapur and Nagpur's Bhosale Branches and also several Maratha
clans in caste. Due to this and their old Sardarki under Sultanets they effectively
used titles of RajeMahadik which were equally important as that of King Mahadik.
They were extraordinary Maratha knights who trace their existence in Maratha
Princely States of India.
