Automatic Production Order Creation After Sales Order Creation

A sales order will automatically trigger the creation of a production order and scheduling using order type PP04 as standard. In order for this to occur, strategy type -82 must be assigned in MRP-3 and production supervisor and scheduling profiles must be maintained in work scheduling. Once a sales order is created, the system will then automatically generate a linked production order and schedule.

Assign Strategy type -82 in MRP -3

Use order type PP04 as standard for this.


In work scheduling – production supervisor and production scheduling profile must be maintained.
Create a sales order for the same.

System will automatically create a production order and scheduling.
