Format of the Examination

Paper 1 (1 hour 30 minutes): This paper consists of 60 multiple-choice items – 60 marks.

Paper 2 (2 hours 40 minutes): This paper consists of ten compulsory structured questions with

essay or problem solving type items – 100 marks.

Weighting of Papers – Total 100%

Paper 1 – 30%, Paper 2 – 50% and SBA/Paper 3 – 20%

Profile – Total 100%

Knowledge – 30%, Comprehension – 40% and Reasoning – 30%

e.g. Grade I (A, A, A)

Note: A formula sheet will be provided with some of the formulas in the Exam.

Assignment Headings: Name of Group Members, Registration Number, Date, Subject,


Lecturer/Teacher, Centre Number, Territory (Jamaica)

Test 1 to 9 from Conrad Archie’s textbook. Every three (3) weeks a test which consists of
100 questions, must be completed. Answers will be provided.
