At Centralized profile management, thick at Use and select folder for centralized management folder.
Click <Manage network profiles>, if want to create network profile.
Information window appear automatically asking <At least one profile must be created>. Click <OK>.
Input new profile name. <Enter>
Window as below appear. Input virtual folder name, connect to the folder. Then click <OK>.
Automatically New Strip window appear and enter the strip name. Then <OK>.
4
At Block menu (as above), select <Add images from files> to add images. A Question window appear and
asking <Created “Images” folder to the project folder?>. Click <Yes>.
Add Images window appear as below. Select images from the folder. User can select more than one
image at the same place. Make sure at the Compression, JPEG with quality 90% is selected.
After the images loading, manage the images series as strip line.
At Orientation menu, select Interior Orientation and then Manage Cameras. Or click at button. The
window as below appears. Click Import camera from another project ( ) button if one has already
been created or add new camera ( ) to create the new one.
To create a new camera, after click , Camera window appears as below. Enter the camera info and
add the fiducial mark values.
Add camera info.
OK.
Click <Execute> button to assign camera to the selected images. Then <OK>.
Use the general view to get approximate cursor position. Then click zoom in button to move the reading
view to the mark. Put the cursor to the mark and push <Measure Mark> button.

After all marks are measured, click <Apply> and then <OK>.
For the next image, there are options to do semiautomatic interior orientation (click at )or automatic
interior orientation (click at ). Then, click at to calculate the interior orientation.
User can check if the interior orientation is done or not at Project State (click at button). Also user
can check the report of the interior orientation that provides detailed information of selected
parameters and calculation results.

Relative Orientation
To measure a set of tie points at the overlapping images, it can be done manually
*Automatic tie point measurement or click at button. Automatically Automatic Tie Point
Measurement window appear. Then click Start button to perform measurement.
To open Point Measurement window as below, select the image and go to Orientation menu, select
Open in-strip stereopair or by clicking button.
At Triangulation points window, user can check the residual value of the tie points to remove “bad”
points and add new points.
Note: Ideally, for relative orientation executing user should combine two methods – automatic
measurement with “bad” points filtering and manual mode for editing of measurements acquired in
automatic mode and adding of new points to obtain satisfactory results.
User can input ground control points using GCP list tab or button at Triangulation points window.
To add new GCP, click button. Key in the name and coordinates (XYZ) value. Repeat this step for
every single coordinate.
8
After GCPs coordinates input, user should recognize and measure ground control points on images.
General view
-Click on the
GCP mark
Reading view
-Put cursor at
the GCP point
After put the cursor/marker at the GCP point, push the button to add/move measurement into
marker position. Repeat this step at the adjacent images.
After finish measurement to all GCP points, click <Apply> and then <OK>.
Note: Beside manual input of coordinates values you can use coordinates import from text file.
Text file suitable for GCP import to PHOTOMOD system should contain strings like following:
NAME,X,Y,Z,STDDEVX,STDDEVY,STDDEVZ
0556,4971037.270000,6444373.220000,129.630000,0.10000, 0.1000000, 0.1000000

where:
NAME – a name of a GCP,
X, Y, Z – ground coordinates of this point,
STDDEVX, STDDEVY,STDDEVZ – accuracy of coordinates measuring (RMS)
“*” - coordinates values are unavailable
At Adjustment menu, select Block Adjustment or click at button. Block adjustment window appear as
below. Click at tab button to perform block adjustment. Click at tab button to
view the report. User can save this report in txt file. Save the adjustment by clicking at tab
button.
After the computation, residuals all tie and GCP points need to be check. If the error is out of tolerance,
redo the steps to re-measure the “bad” tie and GCP points.
To turn ON/OFF stereomode in 2D window, click the icon in upper menu of 2D window or F9 hot
key. To view such a picture is stereomode, user should use special anaglyph spectacles with red and blue
glasses.

Vector
12
To create layer with classifier, at Vectors menu, select Create layer with classifier. The Classifier window
automatically appears as below. User can create new, add, save, import and export classifier. User can
manipulate layer, code and attribute at this window.
13
Once layer has been created, user can start digitize vector object in stereomode. To start digitizing, put
the marker at the selected object, then push Insert key (at the keyboard) to start digitize and push Enter
key to stop digitize.
After finish digitize, save the classifier data. User also can import and export the classifier data.
