Floor installation of the

Agru Sure Grip®Concrete Protective Liner
floor standard method:
The floor of the basin is divided into fields. The size of these fields corresponds to the
format of the CPL sheets. The fields are set up either with steel profiles or with lean
concrete supports with CPL strips embedded.
It must be guaranteed that the plates are supported on the edges at least 20 mm on the
steel profiles or encased in concrete floor supports. Therefore a width of 50mm to 80 mm
is recommended as the Sure Grip sheet (4x2m) therfore is delivered with 25-40mm
smooth edge zones on both sides.
The mortar is then inserted into these fields and a little over-high diverted (1-3 mm). A
moisture film should be visible on the cement surface to guarantee that the composition
of the floor concrete is not too dry.
Afterwards the floor plates are inserted into the floor plaster.
It is imerative that the plates are manually vibrated (tapped) immediately after insertion in
order to achieve a complete embeddment of the studs.

A squared timber is best suitable for this (10 times 10 cm, length approx. 1.5 m). The
installer rams the plate with the front side of the squared timber into the concrete
carefully.
The plate is then covered with form work boards and load is applied (30-40 kg/m²). Plastic
buckets filled with sand or water (10 l of volume) or sand bags are suitable for this
purpose.
The load should be kept until the concrete is cured.
The next step is to check if there are any hollow spaces where the CPL studs are not
embedded. Use a plastic hammer to knock on the lining over the whole surface. Hollow
spots can be recognized by listenining to the sound when knocking. The spots have to be
backfilled with grout mortar.
After careful preparation of the welding areas the extrusion welding and testing of seams
can take place.
Note:
As only T-intersections are accepted, the liners ha
havve to be laid accordingly

Floor Installation:

After primer-coating (adhesive for bonding to the floor plaster) is performed the floor
panel reinforcement is brought in place and concreting is started

Floor plaster is ruled in at a slightly raised level (2-3 mm/ 0.078-0.118 in.)
Afterwards the CPL is laid and slightly manuallytamped orvibrarted using timber.
Note:Studs have to be removedto fit to the

After Laying the CPL the panels are covered with wooden boards and evenly weighted
(weight / m²: 30-40kg/ 66-88 lb.). Bags or plastic buckets filled with water or sand can
be used for this purpose.
The weight must not be removed until the concrete is cured sufficiently.
