In 21st century the cinema has a great impact on shopping trend. The times, when a good mall
was only characterized by a wide selection of stores, are long gone. Although, the variety of
significant role is played by leisure opportunities and entertainment – people are provided with
the possibilities to dine, go to the cinema or theatre. The marketers realize the different consumer
needs regarding the shopping mall’s activities. Consumer comes in mall for the fun activities and
relaxation, they spend their time with family, friends. There are various activities in the mall like
occasional celebration, special events, different indoor games e.g. video game, kids play area,
outdoor games, celebrity endorsement , cinema etc. these thing create new possibilities of
spending free time for the whole family and also that attract the people towards the mall.
The most common activity of ocean mall is cinema because of the revival of cinema in Pakistan
there are numbers of films which are available on cinema and people are more attracted towards
movies. The most common uniqueness’ of ocean mall is cinema and it’s differentiating them
from other malls. The magic of cinema in the cinema is connected to two unique conditions – the
beyond the perspective of normal perception. So that’s why we are targeted the cinema and our
survey is to analyze and determine the impact of cinema on shopping mall trends.
