Statement of Purpose
The intent of this portfolio is to
provide and share experiences and ideas
to those who will undergo the same
undertakings. The content of this
portfolio will help future mentors
appreciate the importance of the family
and know the other resources. This
portfolio is intended to introduce the
pre-service students to effective
understanding and knowledge about
family resource management.
This also provide awareness the
dynamics of a family, the teachings of
the growth and development of each
resources and how family resources
managed. It will help to mold the basic
knowledge of an individual.
DEDICATION
As well as everything that I do , I would be
honor to dedicate this final portfolio to my
parents. The two people that gave the tools and
values necessary to be where I am standing today.
My parents support me on every step I make, and
decisions I take; but it is necessary to understand
that they let me take my decisions alone in order
for me to learn from my personal mistake and as
my father says to “Learn and grow from each
setback.” I will never finish to thank my father and
my mother for all the opportunities that they have
offer and gave me, for all the teachings that they
have told me and for every advice that come out of
their mouth. I am so grateful with them for
trusting me that I would do a good job in the
university.
So that’s why I dedicate this portfolio to my
parents, whom expect my effort on everything
that I do, and I think that this final portfolio is
the perfect image and reflection of my effort and
hardwork on this subject Family Resource
Management.
INTRODUCTION
Family Resource Management is truly a defining
feature of contemporary education, and takes
overview to the cutting edge of thinking in this
field with coverage of the scope of each resources
and as a learning as critically important.
Family Resource Management is an on-going
process aimed at understanding and improving
students learning in a certain family and also
establishing clear and measurable expectation to
the extent knowledge in management. It builds
systematically to gather, analyze and interprets all
about the resources undertaken in daily life.
Family Resource Management is a set of
initiatives we take to monitor the results of our
actions and improve ourselves in a society and to
our families; it is not an end in itself but a vehicle
for values improvement.
Over-all Reflection
Things need just happen in a family; they can be decided.
The responsibility and the burden of choice are a particular
attribute of humanness. The quality of human life and the
prospect of the family’s continued survival within limited
environmental settings depends, in large measure, on the
decisions made in daily life. I presume that family resource
management differs from the way management is taught in
schools esp. in business. The fields are alike in that both are
concerned with productivity and decision making but in family
resource management the examples are more likely to be of a
personal, home based, or family nature that helps me more to
be understood.
I can tell that a family is very important that provide our
resources in our daily life. They are the one who manage the
budget of life. This life that most importantly, the rsources in
financial or money.
And I am glad that I am part of this learning in family
resource management.
Over-all Analysis
Resource management is the process in which individuals
and families use what they have to get what they want. It
begins with thinking and planning and ends with the evaluation
of action taken. Three fundamental concepts in resources
management are values, goals, and decision making. Value such
as honesty and trust are principles that guide behavior. They
are desirable or important and serve as underlying motivators.
Value determines goals which are sought- after end result.
Goals can be implicit or explicit. They can be short- term,
intermediate or long term.
Decisions are conclusion or judgements about some issue
or matter. Decision making involves choosing between two or
more alternatives and follows a series of steps from inception
to evaluation. Through choices, individuals and families define
their live and influence the lives of others. “The knowledge
obtained through the study of management is evaluated in
light of its ability to make an individual’s or family’s
management practice more effective.”
Biographical Sketch
Jhobhel Christopher T. Galivo is a college student taking
up bachelor of secondary education major in t.l.e at romblon
state university. He is once a member of a choral group in the
said university, ced majestic choral. He is the elder son of
Mr. Jose Galivo and Mrs. Maribel Galivo., born on 31st of
October 1997.
Galivo was a constant named on the honor roll and
graduated from looc national high school with honors as 4th
honourable mention. He enjoys his high school days with
friends.
When he is not participating in plays or at school, he
enjoys spending his time writing, as it is a dream of him to
one day be published. He also spends a great deal of time
helping his grandmother.
He hopes someday to work particularly with theatre
troupe. He is affectionately influenced by kim minseok (exo
member; xiumin) calling his self “baozi”
