THE MAZE RUNNER

It all begin in a dark elevator that is ascending upwards, a teenage boy that doesn’t remember
anything but his name, Thomas. When the elevator already reached the top, a lot of teenage men are
looking at him and seems like welcoming the new arrival. Thomas is in shocked, wondering what is he
doing in that place later on run like a kid to the other side. He run as fast as he could until he saw a giant
thick walls surrounded on their area which they call as the square. The surrounding walls has its narrow
opening and Thomas is confused why it is open and they are not leaving the place. He then approached by
Alby, their leader, and welcome him in their group and to the Glade. In which later on he run into this
narrow open walls to look because of his question in mind but then two men exits the narrow wall which
they call runners. These runners enters to that walls and memorizing the maze inside. However, the maze
changes everyday.
Over the course of the next few days, Thomas run to his friend inside the walls when Minho, a
runner is dragging Alby towards the door but it is nearly closing because Alby is stung by a griever. It is
said that the person who left inside the walls will never be seen again but Thomas bravely joined the
wounded runner inside. In that night, he saw what is really behind that walls and this is the grievers.
Grievers are violent mechanical creatures that only come out at night. Since Grievers come out a night, it is
also the time that doors will be closing so grievers cannot go the glade. On that day Thomas and his
companies killed a griever. On the following day they investigate the dead griever and a new arrival came
named Theresa. She then tells Thomas that the maze is a code. But later on, the sun also suddenly
disappears which causes the doors to remain open at night and grievers can now enter the Glade. Grievers
took the life of some people in the Glade. Thomas let himself to be stung so that he will remember his lost
memories. Then Thomas made a plan to enter the maze with others. They faced the actual changing inside
the walls and little by little killed some of them but in the end Thomas and There identified the code and
killed all the grievers. They entered an office where they meet the creator of the maze and figured out that
outside the maze there is a devastating disaster that has caused a widespread of disease. Someone saved
them but as they thought that it already ends, the thing is there is a phase 2 of the experiment.
