RULES AND REGULATIONS

SCHOOL UNIFORM
 Wearing of school uniform is encouraged for proper identification and a manner of showing a good
image of our school.
For the Gentlemen: Black Pants and White Polo; Black shoes with socks
For the Ladies: Lavender (checkered) and white blouse with necktie (designated design); Black
Ladies shoes
 PE uniform is allowed during PE day
 Wearing of school ID

GOOD GROOMING
SHS students are expected to do good grooming:
 For gentlemen:
 strictly prohibited from wearing earrings and the like
 long hair is not allowed
 For ladies:
 discouraged from wearing unnecessary jewelries and make-up and wearing too short skirts

PROPER BEHAVIOR

 SHS students are expected to be inside the classroom on time.


 3x late/tardy is equivalent to 1 day absent; students are given 15 minutes allowance (only for
those who are living in a distant place
 Habitual tardiness and absences would require the presence of the parents/guardians for a
conference with the Class Adviser, Guidance Counselor and SHS Focal Person/School
Principal
 It is a requirement that they have to present their Excuse Slip duly signed by their
parents/guardians once they are absent from class. Once absent, student has to secure first the
signature of his/her class adviser and SHS Guidance Coordinator.

 Cellular phones should be switched off or must be in silent mode while class is going on.
 Students should help in maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of the classroom and the SHS
vicinity.
 Vandalism and destruction of CNHS properties are prohibited.
 Spitting and littering in the SHS vicinity is also prohibited.
 The following are also strictly not allowed:
 Drinking and possession of liquor
 Staying in the school vicinity under the influence of liquor
 Smoking and possession of cigarette, illegal drugs
 Gambling within the school vicinity
 Carrying of any deadly weapons (knives, firearms and the like)
 Bringing pornographic materials
 Bullying

ACTIONS TO BE TAKEN
 Reprimand (verbal, written)
 Report to the Guidance Office / SHS Focal Person / School Principal
 Community Service
 Preventive Suspension

WHAT TO DO WHEN YOU ARE ABSENT?


1. Bring an Excuse Letter duly signed by the parent/s or guardian
2. Secure the signature of the class adviser
3. Present the letter to the Guidance Coordinator
