happen at a later time.
WAS/WERE GOING TO
Formula:
was/were going to + base form is used to talked about actions somebody intended to do
in the past (but probably didn’t)
I was going to go to the party, but I decided to stay and watch Netflix.
Josue and Remy were going to make a play, but the teacher cancelled it.
