organize my material for the class and to have to time to remember the name of
some students and to check the homework about numbers. I started the class with
a euphoric “hello, how are you?” to what they respond very good teacher! After that
I proceed to plug in my cellphone with the portable speaker to play the song 10
Little Indians, the two first times that I played the song I noticed that they were no
able to catch all the numbers, so I decided to play the song 30% slower in order to
help them to listening the numbers and it works. With the help of two students we
stuck the numbers in the board, after that I wrote the name of the numbers in
disorder with the aim of that the students connect the name with the correct order
and once again students love that activity and they are very active. Since some
students have the homework wrong, I wrote the names of the numbers in the
correct order for them to have it correctly. To continue with the class I removed
from the board the number zero, to explain the ordinal numbers, I want to do a
quiet race but I saw my watch and I only have 20 min left, so I decided to explain
the topic with the grades of the school for instance: first grade, second grade, third
grade and so on, to make sure that they understood I asked to some students:
what grade are you? They answered third. To conclude the class I provide to the
students with a worksheet, they have to do a subtraction in order to know the color
of each section of the worm, for example: one section has 5-3 they do the math
and the result is 2, the color for that part of the worm is brown, and they have to
paint that section with that color. The homework was to finish the worksheet and
