Introduction:
Data communication refers to the exchange of data between a source and a receiver
via form of transmission media such as a wire cable. Data communication is said to be
local if communicating devices are in the same building or a similarly restricted
geographical area. The meanings of source and receiver are very simple. The device
that transmits the data is known as source and the device that receives the transmitted
data is known as receiver. Data communication aims at the transfer of data and
maintenance of the data during the process but not the actual generation of the
information at the source and receiver.
Instruction:
1. Read at least THREE (3) articles to develop the understanding and knowledge in
any area of Data Communication & Networking.
2. By using your own words, develop an article with your own title in any of article
format that makes it easy to understand and create.
3. The article should include few sections:
 Abstract
 Introduction
 Literature Review
 Analysis
 Conclusion and Future Work
 Reference
4. Submit the article along with all the articles used in the process of developing this
article.

EXPECTED OUTCOME

The paper length should be no less than 1000 words. It should include information from
no less than three independent sources and be referenced in accordance with
acceptable standards.

SUBMISSION INFORMATION
 This assignment is an individual assignment.
 Submit the assignment via google classroom.
 Student who submits this assignment after the deadline date stated on google
classroom will be penalized.

SPECIFIC INFORMATION
 This assignment is an individual work and it contributes 40% to your total marks.

 You are NOT allowed to work with other students to get a detailed solution, to
copy a solution, or to give away a solution.
 Do NOT let other students see your solution.
 Do NOT e-mail your solution to anyone other than the lecturer.

 Content with clarity and evidence - 15%

 Quality of the report - 15%
