Group Activity:
Directions: Group yourself into six. Each group will be given 15 minutes to make a
spoken poetry piece that deals with current issues with the millenials. The spoken
poetry will be performed by group.
4. Evaluation Instructions: Analyze the poem entitled “Muted Cry” by Trinidad Tarrosa-Subido
according to the elements of poem.
5. Assignment Instructions: After watching the film “Dead Poet Society,” write an essay on how the
poetry helps each character in the movie.
