To SHIELD II Implementers,

In anticipation for the opening of classes in August, DepEd Masbate Province through the
Curriculum Implementation Division would like to ensure the readiness of the learners in
going back to school ,though not physically, amidst the challenges caused by COVID 19
by offering an 8-week academic reinforcement/ enrichment program penned School-Home
Interactive Engagement for Learners’ Development or SHIELD. Since we used the same
acronym for the ongoing academic intervention program, School-Home Interaction to
engage Learners with Difficulties or Deficiencies or SHIELD, we name the 1st program as
SHIELD I and the 2nd as SHIELD II.
Being the identified direct implementers, you have a vital role to play in this program. Thus,
we provide you this SHIELD II E-Orientation Kit.
Looking forward to seeing you invest love and concern for our dear learners.
