LEADERSHIP TRAINING WORKSHOP 2018

April 10-11, 2018

"Amity towards Diversity: Holistically Transcending Paulinians into The Fabric of

Empowered Leadership."

I. RATIONALE

Leadership is not inherent. It depends upon the traits which can be harnessed
and upon the application of strategies which can be cultivated. Granting some
men are born learners, most leaders are good because they have been molded
and worked hard to become so. Therefore, as Academic Year 2018-2019 begins,
the Paulinian Student Government would like to commence a leadership training
to provide the necessary activities and training to cultivate and practice students
who possess the intellectual and corporeal aptitude and the moral and ethical
integrity anticipated of a genuine leader.
Through this leadership training, it is anticipated that students will imbibe a sense
of mission, self-confidence, high character, job competence, good judgment, and
commitment to each other for the greater good of all.

II. OBJECTIVES

i. To gain greater understanding of a leader’s responsibilities. This will guide

the student officers in accomplishing their duties and realizing the importance of
their roles and responsibilities.
ii. To create and maintain an efficient, effective, and motivated team. This will
create a harmonious relationship between each officers that will help them
achieve their goal.
iii. To understand the behavior and cater the needs of the individual. This will
help maximize team performance by understanding human behavior and
focusing on the needs of the individual and the team.
iv. To improve the ability to communicate. Improve the officer’s ability to
communicate with the team and to the studentry.
v. To strengthen management techniques. This will be a training ground for
student officers to handle and assess certain situations,
