A. Job Identification

Position Title Store Manager

Job Grade

B. Job Purpose

The position is responsible for making the store as the main distribution channel of the bank selling all products and
services such as deposits, loans, trust, treasury, cash management, credit cards etc with the end view of meeting all the
objectives and targets that were set and aligned with the objectives of the Retail Banking Cluster as a whole. Also,
responsible for the store profitability, compliance to policies and procedures set by both internal and external regulatory
bodies and customer service delivery.

C. Job Duties and Responsibilities

Responsible in over-all management of Store sales
Prepares and reviews business plan for the branch
Conducts mapping of trading area
Manages the career improvement of junior officers and staff
Schedules/conducts sales calls
Conducts surprise cash count (ATM/Vault/Accountable Forms)once a month
Conducts Monthly staff meeting
Attends monthly sales clinic, attends seminars and trainings conducted by HR
Services Clients’ needs
Quotes/negotiates rate and term to clients especially on investments/back to back loansetc.
Opens and closes the branch

Conducts branch based marketing activities
Uses the SMMS to encode all sales related activities and to perform SMP with Business

Attends to customer inquiries and complaints immediately
Supports all marketing promos and programs making sure that it is pushed actively in the
store.
Performs initial investigation on cases involving the staff, junior officer’s personnel of the
store. Submits the report to the proper bodies for disposition.
Performs pricing and negotiation on various services such as CMS/Deposit Pick-up making
sure that the arrangement will be profitable.

E. Job Qualifications and Competencies Requirement

1. Education – College degree preferably business course

2. Experience – at least 2-3 years experience on Sales and Marketing. Preferably 2 years as Branch Head.

3. Technical Competencies (“Know-how”) – Selling Skills, People Handling Skills, Negotiation Skills, Presentation
Skills, human Relation Skills, Communication Skills, Coaching Skills, Computer Literate
