CIRCUS CLOSED!!!

Description: What happened to the circus? This activity will give you an idea on probability of simple events.
You will match the questions in Column A with the answer in Column B to decode the reason on why the
circus closed.

Column A Column B
1. When a die is rolled, the die shows a composite number A. 1
2. When a die is rolled, it shows a counting number B. 1/3
less than 7
3. In a family of 3 children, the eldest child is a boy C. 1/6
4. In a family of 3 children, there are at least 1 of each D. 2/3
gender
5. When 3 coins are tossed, they show the same faces K. 3/4
6. When 3 coins are tossed, how many possible N. ½
are there?
7. When a card is drawn from the standard deck of P. 1/26
of 52 cards, it shows a red ace.
8. When a card is drawn from the standard deck of R. 1/4
of 52 cards, it shows a black face card.
9. When 2 dice are rolled simultaneously, they show T. 3/26
two numbers with the sum of 7.
10. When 2 dice are rolled simultaneously, they show U. 8
two numbers with a product of 12.
