Modified Ratios

The document provides calculations for reinforcement of anchors connecting a Brazilian pavilion structure to a concrete foundation. It determines that 2 hairpin shear bars and 4 U-shaped tension bars per anchor are required to reduce the utilization levels from over 600% in shear and over 1400% in tension to within acceptable limits of 32% in shear, 83% in tension, and 93% for the combined interaction of tension and shear. Development lengths of 400mm and 840mm are also calculated for the shear and tension reinforcement, respectively.
