5. Product Development Canvas 16 Introduction Nowadays, there has been a tremendous increase in the amount of carbondioxide
realeasing items because of cars, industries, burning of fuels, etc. This increase leads to several harmful effect such as global warming,
climate change, etc. even because of carbondioxide, photosynthesis and transpiration processes of plants are harmed. So we decided to try
to do something to reduce the proportion of carbondioxide gas. As we know that algae is a great substance that absorbs carbondioxide
whenever it comes in contact with it.We took this idea in real life and prepared a model based on the same principal. This consists of :- 1> A
tank filled of algae which will be placed on the top of the car or placed inside according to the design. 2> The silencer pipe of the car will be
directly connected to the tank so that all the released gases will pass through the tank directly And algae will absorb that and the pure gas
without carbondioxide will pass out through the outlet of the tank. Design Thinking: • Design is very interesting word Because of it shows
the creativity, understanding and representation of any kind of thing, process or equipment for an engineer. • Design thinking is the art of
solving major engineering problems with the help of our intelligence, creativeness and emotions. • It is basically the language of
communication between the minds working as technical minds. • It indicate step by step or systematically solution with picture illustration
and technical feasibility. • It finds its Waste use in chemical based industries as how to design any reactor or storage tank to store any kind of
hazardous chemicals. • It proves that design thinking holds its importance in socio-economic world also. • Design thinking does not only
include problem solving in industries only, it is the art which evaluates the solution of any problem with intellect and presence of mind. • We
are gaining an ability to think in the different way or to a different path to solve any problem that comes in front of us. Empathy Mapping
Information about domain: Pollution is the major problem nowadays. It can be of any type such as land, water, air, noise or geothermal.
Pollution causes many problems to human beings whereas it affects animals and the atmosphere too. Many diseases occur to human beings
such as heart diseases, it affects the outdoor workers and even there is a harm to the baby of pregnant woman. Even climatic changes and
global warming are a part of pollution increase. Many aquatic animals die due to polluted water. So, precautions should be taken to control
pollution. Observation data through AEIOU: AEIOU mainly means the Activities, Environmental effect, Interaction among people, Objects
used, Users. It defines all type of possible relation with the domain. The activities which we had done in current semester and which will do in
next semesters. Environment effect includes the possible effects ofcarbon dioxide on environment. Interaction involves interaction among
engineers, among workers, about the usage in particular process.Objects which are used in this activity. Users contain the list of the people

about the domain. It has stated which all activities takes place which we had done in current semester and which will do in next semesters. It
states environment related issues which can occur due to increase in amount of carbondioxide. It also includes the discussion between users.
It includes the list of objects taking part in the reduction of carbon dioxide using algae. And finally comes the users, they being the main part
of the whole discussion is also included in it. Mind mapping Techniques Our mind mapping includes all the possible areas of knowledge about
Pollution and reduction of carbondioxide. It contains number of groups and sub-groups which broadly classifies all the details of the domain. It
contains a column of its types, sources, effects and how to reduce them. It has a different sources of equipment and raw materials. It has
broadly stated its uses to users. Also it has stated its different environmental effects. It also shows how the world will be by the less
proportion of carbondioxide. About Users and Stakeholders: • Users are basically the people which are directly related with the domain. •
Stakeholders are people which are affected by the change in domain i.e. in our case for Pollution. They are the person who is not directly
affected by it but as a whole have some impact on the result of it. About the Activities • The activities Change in engine of vehicles,
designing of model, collection of algae, include which we had done in current semester and which we will do in next semesters. It includes the
literature survey, which we had done in 3rd semester. And the activities like Story Boarding: • Happy story: o When carbon dioxide
emissions from vehicles and companies will be reduced along with the other co pollutants such as SO2 and NO2which are very harmful of
human beings because of the diseases caused by them can lead to death. o Increase the amount of Carbon dioxide bgas is leading to
increase in the temperature of earth which is finally harming to earth in various ways , by lowering the amount of Carbon dioxide in
atmosphere , Which are melting rapidly will be controlled. Sad Story: o Rinsing of Carbon dioxide since photosynthesis of plants Carbon
dioxide leads to large variety ofsecondary effects on plant physiology. Moreover the Proportion of Carbon dioxide in oceans and water bodies
oceans absorbs 22 millions of Carbon dioxide everyday. This directly effects on the marine life and as a result global climate. o The effects of
global warming, are observed on glaciers as they are melting rapidly. Moreover, the timing of seasons and changes in agricultural production
are also observed. Ideation Canvas Ideation canvas includes four parts namely; people, activities, situation, and possible solution of the given
situation. People: People include all the users and stakeholders. In short it includes all human resources associated with each part of the
