Job Context
Background: The purpose of this position is to support program implementation for the Feed
the Future Bangladesh Aquaculture & Nutrition Activity (BANA).
Eligibility, Location and Duration: Among this six position, 2 will be based at World Fish`s
Country Office in Barisal, 2 in Khulna and 2 in Jashore, Bangladesh. Interviews are expected
to be held in June 2020 and only shortlisted candidates will be notified and expected to attend
the interview. The successful candidate should be available to commence as soon as possible
for an initial one (1) year and eight (8) months fixed term contract, with the possibility of
contract renewal depending on performance and funding availability.
Job Responsibilities
Works closely with contracted partners to supports the implementation of specified program
activities consistent with the plan and its objectives.
Anticipates problems, formulates field level solutions, and actively lead resolution.
Establishes and maintains productive working relationships with all stakeholders.
Monitors the contract's substantive, financial and compliance aligned with USAID and World
Fish requirements.
Conducts frequent field visits and monitor and support on time implementation of field
activities.
Writes reports, and prepares stories and case studies.
Any other related activities and tasks as required by the project.

Salary
Salary and Benefits: This is a Nationally Recruited Staff (NRS) position with annual salary
ranging between BDT 1,032,535 - BDT 1,128,279 per annum. World Fish NRS shall receive
comprehensive benefits including (but not limited to) insurance coverage for staff and eligible
dependents, and pension / provident fund contribution.
