Intro Comp

The document reports on biomimetics, which is the abstraction of good designs from nature. It summarizes several technologies that have been replicated from nature, such as artificial intelligence developed from studying animal brains, cancer treatment inspired by immune cells, and aircraft wing designs based on bird flight. It also discusses the benefits of biomimetics, but warns of overdependence that could harm the climate. The report includes an acknowledgements section, descriptive abstract, table of contents, and list of figures to support the concepts presented.

Informative Abstract:

An insight into the different technologies replicated from nature for the welfare of the human
beings. The field of Bio-mimetic is the abstraction of a GOOD design from nature.

We take this opportunity to express our sincerest gratitude towards Ms.Smita Sail, our
professional communication teacher for her constant guidance and support in the creation of
this project. This project would not have been a success without our teacher’s help.

We extend our heartily thanks to the librarian for suggesting us references to complete for
our project. We would like to thank our college for including this syllabus into the
curriculum. And for providing us with all the facilities and the infrastructure we needed to
complete this project.

We would also like to thank our English Department, which has always
supported and guided us in successful completion of the project. Last but not the
least we take this opportunity to thank all our friends for their encouragement and
support.

Last but not least, we would like to thanks our parents for extending their support.

Descriptive Abstract

Biomimetics is the art of creating human friendly technologies from Mother Nature. For the
boons and the banes, human beings always look up towards the nature. Nature is from where
human beings have taken everything for their advancement. Nature is like our mother from
whom he inherits technologies and all. One has hackneyed the environment but hasn’t given
anything back. Humans are a selfish being. They have developed a lot since centuries.
Humans have inherited a lot from the nature since the Stone Age that we have ourselves
come to a point where we think ‘why can’t this* be brought to reality’. So now by seeing the
changes around us we have developed many sophisticated and scientific tools, in which all
the basic ideas have been inherited from nature. For example, the aero dynamics that are being
used now have been developed and analysed from the flight of the birds seen around us. The
wings of the bird gave humans the idea about the shape, an aircraft has to be created for lift
off. We have come to a stage where the number of things developed from nature has become
enormous that the count is all most infinite.

Now we are on the verge of expanding our self to a greater and higher level where no other
species on this planet could even imagine. We have inherited the good as well as the bad part
of nature, as a result of which we have developed things that helps as well as threatens our
existence of life on this planet.
