Reference for Mary Nemec

I had the pleasure of meeting Mary in August 2019 as a student in two classes I taught, Math
and Science Methods for Elementary Teachers.

I found her to be inquisitive along with being determined to develop the skills necessary for a
successful teacher. She was always in attendance and on time. During class Mary was attentive and
cooperative with fellow students. She developed a sound foundation for hands-on math and science
instruction.

While not a writing course as such, Mary expressed herself with logic and articulation. Her
writing demonstrates that she thinks about the issues rather than parroting what was heard in class.

Mary is a friendly and caring person. She will be an asset to any faculty or graduate program
she joins. I highly recommend Mary Nemec.
