Through the letter of the Secretary to the Governor No.GOS/ADM/02/19/01/2019 and


dated 03.05.2019, I have been informed that the assent has been granted by Hon. Governor
regarding the application of following circulars issued by the Secretary of the Ministry of
Public Administration and Disaster Management to the Western Province. (Copies of those
Circulars have been attached herewith.)

Granting the Allowance for Chartered Professionals to the Officers in


Sri Lanka Architects’ Service

Your attention is hereby drawn to Public Administration Circulars No: 04/2018 issued for the
payment of a monthly allowance for the Chartered Engineers of Sri Lanka Engineering
Service from 01.02.2018.

02. It has been informed by the decision of the Cabinet of Ministers No:
CP/18/0857/734/013 dated 13.06.2018 of the Secretary to the Cabinet of Ministers that it has
been decided at the meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers held on 05.06.2018 to pay the
allowance for Chartered Professionals to the Chartered Architects of Sri Lanka Architects’
Service from the effective date of the said circular and as per the provisions of the same.

03. Kindly take action accordingly.
