PROGRAM SCHEDULE

Welcome!
Dear World Summit 2020 Participants,

On behalf of Dr. Hak Ja Han Moon and the members of the Organizing Committee,
it is my honor to welcome you to World Summit 2020 on “Realizing Peace and
Reunification of the Korean Peninsula through Interdependence, Mutual Prosperity
and Universal Values.” World Summit 2020 is sponsored by the Universal Peace
Federation (UPF), an NGO in General Consultative Status with the Economic and
Social Council of the United Nations.

World Summit 2020 will feature programs of the International Summit Council
for Peace (ISCP), the International Association of Parliamentarians for Peace
(IAPP), the Interreligious Association for Peace and Development (IAPD), the
International Media Association for Peace (IMAP), the International Association
for Peace and Economic Development (IAED), the International Association
of First Ladies for Peace (IAFLP), the International Association of Youth and
Students for Peace (IAYSP), the World Clergy Leadership Conference (WCLC),
and the Sunhak Peace Prize Foundation.

We are particularly pleased to have a highly selective group of nearly 3,000 delegates
from 170 nations, including current and former heads of state and government,
first ladies, parliamentarians and ministers, religious leaders, academicians, media
professionals, women leaders, and youth and civil society leaders. Such a gathering
of so many experienced and talented leaders is unprecedented and historic, and a
fitting testament to the centenary of Rev. Sun Myung Moon.

There is a growing awareness among people throughout the world of the urgent
need for innovative vision and bold leadership if we are to resolve the critical
issues of our time. It is with this in mind that World Summit 2020 brings together
world leaders whose individual and collective experience, wisdom and insight
are essential if we are to successfully build a world of lasting peace through
interdependence, mutual prosperity and universal principles.

On behalf of the members of the Organizing Committee, thank you for attending
World Summit 2020.

Thomas G. Walsh
