The study aims to investigate and innovate the use of saltwater as free-energy. The
following questions are waiting to be answered specifically:
1. To find an alternative source of electricity
2. To identify which kind of salt gives a brighter light to a bulb
HYPOTHESIS
Null Hypothesis: There is no relationship between the salt (iodized and rock salt),
magnet, water, and the light bulb.
Alternative Hypothesis: There is a relationship between the salt (iodized and rock salt),
magnet, water, and the light bulb.
GATHERING OF DATA
Salt strengthens the water’s ability to conduct electricity. When an electromagnet is
placed near salt water, it creates a moving magnetic field in the water due to salt water’s
conductive properties. The salt water then creates an opposing magnetic field. This
creates water turbulence.
OBSERVATION
1st attempt with an ordinary light bulb:
From the other experiments, saltwater as free energy was proven to light up a bulb. As we
go along the experiment, both salt were used but we’re also finding out whether the rock
salt or the iodized salt will give a brighter and better light. The experiment gave a little
amount of light that quite noticeable when it is lit in total darkness.
2nd attempt with LED light bulb:
From the 1st attempt, the researchers was able to do a follow-up research using a LED
light bulb to further observe whether of the two salts will give a brighter light.
INTERPRETATION
CONCLUSION
GENERALCONCLUSION
• Both salt lit up the LED bulb obviously and visible to the naked eye unlike from the first
attempt using an ordinary light bulb.
• Iodized-salt, magnet, and water allows the LED light bulb to perform better and brighter
than the rock salt mixture.
