FADE IN:

1 EXT. WOODRIDGE HILL. NIGHT

We see DANIEL (Shocked), ANU (Confused) and JACKSON (Sad,

scared) sitting on a hill next to each other. They are
breathing heavily out of exhaustion. They are staring off
into the dark night sky, reflecting on something that has
just occurred.

ANU
(Confused)
I don't get this man, why Jackson? Why
did she have to do it?

DANIEL
I don't know. Nobody could have
expected this. She seemed so innocent,
it makes this whole thing even more
scary.

Jackson remains silent and looks off into the distance, not
knowing what to say.

DANIEL
Jackson, talk. Did she hurt you?

Jackson looks away, then back at Daniel, while staring at

him.

JACKSON
(Sad)
What do you think?

ANU
What happened? This just happened out
of nowhere. You two were so happy
together. She seemed so innocent.
That's the scariest part.

JACKSON
Promise you'll have my back, please. I
don't know what to do.

DANIEL
Of course, we always will. But you
need to tell us exactly what happened.

Jackson stares into the night sky.

2 EXT. ALEX MOORE. DAY

We see a bright clear sky. We then see Jackson and Kasey,

sitting on the bleaches, facing and talking to each other.

KASEY
Jackson, we've been together for two
weeks, and you're always so nice to me
despite the rumours. I feel like
everyone has turned on me except for
you.

Jackson off to the field and then back at Kasey's eyes. He

sniggers.

JACKSON
Do you seriously think I'd believe a
rumour that you are an escaped inmate
of an asylum? That's ridiculous. I
know you, Kasey, you'd never do
anything like that.

Kasey smiles at Jackson. Jackson then stands up. He gestures

for Kasey to walk with him. They walk down the path, both
holding hands.

3 EXT. WOODRIDGE PARK. DAY

We see Jackson pushing Kasey on the swing. They are both

laughing.

JACKSON
Kasey do you wanna and see my house? I
think I trust you enough now.

KASEY
Sure, I've never been before. Where is
it?

JACKSON
Just down the road, come on we can
watch movies.

4 INT. ANU'S HOUSE. DAY

We see PAPER CRANE sitting on the table

CUT TO:

Kasey and Jackson are both laying on the bed watching a

movie. Kasey pauses the movie and gets up to use the
bathroom.

CUT TO:

Jackson checks his phone to find missed messages from his

friend Daniel warning him about Kasey. Jackson's heart drops
and he begins to shake. Kasey walks back in and Jackson
stares at her.

KASEY
What?

JACKSON
(fearful)
Nothing? Sorry I might need you to go,
I just found out I have a deadline
tomorrow.

Jackson hurries Kasey out of the room and down to the door
with urgency. Kasey looks at Jackson and frowns, suspicious
by Jackson's sudden strange behaviour.

KASEY
Why are you acting so weird? Did I do
something wrong?

JACKSON
No no. I'm just really busy. Bye.

Jackson slams the door shut on Kasey. He starts to breathe

heavy and puts his hands on his forehead.

CUT TO:

He checks his phone again. Daniel texts to warn that police

are searching for an asylum inmate who escaped named Kasey,
and that she is around town. Jackson looks up, breathing
heavy and his eyes wide open.

5 INT. ANU'S HOUSE. NIGHT

Jackson is sleeping. He is suddenly awoken by the echo of the

slamming bathroom door. He wakes up and frantically gets out
of bed. He turns the light on in his room.

We see the PAPER CRANE, however it is now ripped.

CUT TO:

He creeps up to his bedroom door, peeking out into the dark

abyss of his house. The sound of the bathroom door closing
can be then heard.

He walks out into the pitch-black toward the bathroom door,

and then into the bathroom.

He turns on the light, to find Kasey, standing there, holding

a knife and staring at him. Jackson falls back onto the
ground shrieking. Kasey signals for him to shush.

KASEY
(Calm)
You really think I ever cared about
you. I don't love you Jackson. I never
did and I never will.

JACKSON
(Horrified)
Get out of my house freak! You're
crazy.

KASEY
Do not ever tell anyone about this, or
you know the consequences.

Kasey points the knife at Jackson. Jackson then slaps the

knife out of her hands and runs to the door.

CUT TO:

Jackson sees Daniel and Anu outside. They motion for him to
run with them as they take off down the street.

6 EXT. WOODRIDGE HILL. NIGHT

We see the three characters sitting on the same hill again,

side by side.

JACKSON
That's the whole story. What do we do
now?

ANU
We called the police. They should be
at your house soon. We'll return and
give a full statement to them. We
followed her all the way to your
house, and that's why we saw you. We
knew she was up something messed up.

JACKSON
I'm so stupid man, I should've known
about her.

DANIEL
Don't.

(beat)

None of us could've known. Some people

are not who they say they are.

We see the three characters go silent.

We then see Kasey glaring at the three characters from a

distance.
