What’s Up, Soundtrap!?

The rules are simple: follow the directions! You will be assessed on each direction that you can follow.

⬜ Navigate to the Soundtrap Studio and create a blank project.

⬜ Name the project something other than your name, and then click Save.

⬜ Browse the Loops library and select a drum track; insert it into the project.

⬜ Browse the Loops library and select a compatible bass track; insert it into the project.

⬜ Browse the Loops library and select a compatible accompaniment track (guitar, piano, strings); insert.

⬜ Copy and paste the 8 measure loop in order to create a 16 measure song.

⬜ Add a new track and add a melodic software instrument (guitar lead, trumpet, sax, synth lead, etc).

⬜ Record a melody with the software instrument over the looped sequence.

⬜ Export the project as an MP3 file and save it to a temporary location on your device.

⬜ Email your MP3 file to [email protected].
