4.4 Picture of The Project With Parts 4.4.1 The Mobile Application

The document describes the parts of a mobile application-controlled DC motor project. The mobile app, created in MIT App Inventor 2, allows operators to control the direction and speed of a four-quadrant DC motor through commands and change passwords for security. The prototype uses a 9V battery power source connected to a circuit board and motor driver to operate the motor when a toggle switch is turned on or off. The battery, board, and switch are protected inside a 3D printed chassis.

4.4.1 The Mobile Application

The mobile application is created using MIT App Inventor 2. The

mobile application will secure and control the operation of the four

quadrant DC motor. The operator can choose from PWM, forward or

backward motion, and stop or reset command.

The operators can also change the passwords for their safety and

to secure the operation of the equipment.

4.4.2 The Prototype

The prototype is manually turned on or off by a toggle switch. The

prototype consists of a 9V source that is connected to the circuit board. A

9V source powers the Bluetooth module, ARDUINO pro mini, and the

motor diver for operation.

4.4.2. B. The Battery Source and Circuit Board

The battery source and circuit board or the heart and the brain of
the prototype are firmly located inside the 3D printed chassis. Figure 4-6
