Brief Review of Work Done In Month Of AUGUST :


 Take soundings for the bilges and pump out the bilges while the vessel is at sea.
 Following the training program and procedures as per the UASC cadets training record book.
 Assist c/o in ballast water exchange and management.
 Carry out Navigation Watch with Chief Officer at sea.
 Able to do Ballasting/De-Ballasting and practice the same while vessel is at sea and at port.
 Station Aft with 3rd officer at arrival/departure Port.
 Station fwd with 2nd officer at arrival/departure port.
 Spend time at bridge at arrival/departure.
 Assist Boson on deck in routine deck maintenance.
 Attend all drills and training sessions carried out onboard.
 Carry out Cargo Watch with 2nd Officer & 3rd Officer @ Port.
 Handling crane operations using Monorail, handling stores, spares, garbage etc.
 Demonstrate the proper handing over and taking over the navigation watch at sea as per
SMS checklist Mar-038.
 Demonstrate the preparation on bridge prior departure from the port as per the SMS
checklist including bridge gear test.
