BIOGRAPHICAL SKETCH

It was a beautiful morning on the 6th day of July year 1999, when a healthy and

angelic child was born. A blessing came to world and given the chance to live. She was a

home born baby and the second eldest lovely daughter of Mr. Hilario Gabriel and Mrs.

Emelyn Gabriel. Her parents are very happy to have another daughter in the family and

named her Dezzalyn Gabriel.

Each individual needs to acquire knowledge, so she attended her nursery school when

she was 5 years of age. She was once a cry baby every time her mother left her at school. But

as time passed by, she became used to it. Gradually, she left off her comfort zone and made

friends. She finished her nursery school with high grades and skipped her kindergarten.

Thereafter, she started her formal education in elementary when she was 6 years of age and

graduated in the year 2011. Continued her secondary education at Apayao Science High

School from 2011-2015. She was very determined to finish her elementary and high school

education with flying colours, and yes, she nailed it! The fruit of her determination made her

parents proud which painted a very rewarding smiles on their beautiful faces.

Ever since she was a child, her dream profession was to become a teacher. But back to

the days when she is applying at Mariano Marcos State University for her entrance

examination, she had her second thoughts of what she really wanted to be. And now, she is

pursuing the choice she made that challenges her to grow as a person and as a future

professional.

In 2016, she was admitted at Mariano Marcos State University under the Bachelor of

Science in Civil Engineering program. During her college years, she experienced ups and

downs. She cried, started doubting her self and even wanted to shift course but through

perseverance, determination and with the help of our Almighty God Jehovah she managed to
overcome all of those struggles. She is now in her fifth year waiting for the day she could

finally be an engineer and able to hold her head up high.

Her dream of becoming an engineer is really great but what matters for her the most is

to continue learning, growing, doing what she really wants and living happily.
