Training process
The training will start with a week-long orientation that includes a history of Macy's Inc.,
the vision and strategic message, and learning about the MAGIC of Macy's.
- On-the-job training begins after orientation and includes product knowledge and hands-
on learning with the department’s manager.

Dismissal and Corrective Action Policy
Any disciplinary action taken in accordance with this policy must be for just cause under one of the two
following categories:
• Written Warning
• Dismissal
• conduct for which no reasonable person should expect to receive prior warning; or
• job-related conduct which constitutes a violation of Macy’s Code of Conduct; or
• the willful violation of known or written work rules; or
• the abuse of client(s) or person(s) over whom the employee has charge; or
• absence from work after all authorized leave credits and benefits have been exhausted; or
• falsification an employment application or other documentation; or
• willful failure or refusal to carry out a reasonable order from an authorized supervisor is insubordination for
which any level of discipline, including dismissal, may be imposed without prior warning.

physical inventory matches the POS inventory.
- Please do not confront a customer you feel might be committing theft. Alert the nearest manager to the
situation.
