1. According to the video, what are some of the important aspects of school-age children's
socio-emotional development?

Answer :

There are three important aspects of school-age children's socio-emotional


development. The first important aspects is the ability to establish and maintain
relationship. Next is how the child manages their emotion and the last one is the ability to
cope with stress.

2. What suggestions or practices did the teachers in the video mention that you find most
helpful when dealing with children's socio-emotional development?

Answer :

The teachers in the video mentioned some suggestions on how they deal with the
three important aspects of school-age children's socio-emotional development. The first
one, the teacher explained that in encouraging the pupils or the children to build and
maintain relationship to others, they must show to their pupils that they have strong
relationship to each other by communicating and working together. They as the teacher,
they must a good model to their pupils on how to build a relationship and they always make
sure that they approach them in a positive way. Second, to manage the emotions of the
children, the teachers taught them to communicate each other. The teachers encourage the
children to communicate or to say in a words all the things they wanted to express. The last
one, the teachers mentioned that the children have a rough day and to solve that problem,
they communicate to the parents of the child. The other one is to do a counsel to their
children because the children felt safe to express the things that bothering them or make
them feel stress.
