To Whom It Concerns:

It is a pleasure to be writing a letter of recommendation on behalf of Mackenzie Potter, former

intern from Michigan State University who served at Endeavor Elementary in Kentwood. A Title 1
school that is 61% minority, 54% Economically Disadvantaged, and 33% English Learners
(representing over 30 different native languages), Endeavor celebrates its global community.
Mackenzie loves, serves, and is effective with children of all backgrounds.

I observed Mackenzie interacting with children on many occasions. She developed a strong
relationship with all of them. She applied a solid classroom management system, and her lessons
were engaging. She took initiative and was a great 3rd grade teammate. She carried herself with
confidence and humility. Mackenzie is certainly a wonderful person, someone with whom we
have been blessed to have part of Endeavor.

Please do not hesitate to call me if you have any questions about Mackenzie Potter. She will be a
valuable asset to your school.

Sincerely,

Mark C. Bea
Principal
