When Things

Fall Apart
BY: Chinua Achebe
I AM
The Village, Family, and Nature.
I like the company of others and trust.
Boldness, Love and Strength are important to me.
I find satisfaction in spoiling my loved ones
I can be bitter and sad from the pain of my past.
But I use that pain to become a devoted mother.
I take punishment with gritted teeth
My bravery is undeniable
I always stand up for what I believe in
