What will I build?

Fundamental Data Analysis Project
For this project, you'll use the tools and techniques you’ve learned so far to develop an
exploratory data analysis using an open dataset provided to you by your instructor. You'll
use R, a widely-used data language, to explore and visualize your dataset, then narrate your
final findings in a blog post.

Predictive Model Project

For this project, you'll choose from a set of predictive modeling challenges. Your task will
be to create a machine learning model to make a prediction based on the data you chose.
You'll publish your project as a data science notebook and write a blog post describing your
approach, technique, and results.

Project Potential
Juno's Student Outcomes Report is a great example of
what you can start to build with the data literacy you will
gain in this course. In this report, we used data sourced
from our students to answer questions like what was
the average salary of our graduates?
and how long did it take our students
to find a job after graduation? After
understanding the data, we can use
it to improve our career services and
admissions processes.
