DEVOPS ENGINEER

Position Summary:
We are looking for an experienced talented DevOps Engineer who wants to help to build
world class product.

This position is responsible for the deployment and maintenance of a cloud-based solutions.
Responsible for deploying, automating, maintaining, troubleshooting and improving the systems that
keep the backend infrastructure running smoothly. The role requires you to have hands-on technical
experience and a can-do approach towards environment automation / management and continuous
improvement. The role will encompass the use of a broad range of AWS technologies, operating
systems (Windows, Linux) and application environments (J2EE, Microservices, Messing Queue,
MongoDB, Redis, Kubernetes, docker), with an emphasis on the implementation of best practice
cloud security principles

Core Responsibilities:
 Creating landscape for Microservices based cloud solution
 Deploying, automating, maintaining and managing cloud based production system to ensure
the availability, performance, scalability and security of productions systems.
 Build, release and configuration management of production systems.
 System troubleshooting and problem solving across platform and application domains.
 Suggesting architecture improvements, recommending process improvements
 Evaluate new technology options and vendor products
 Ensuring critical system security through the use of best in class cloud security solutions

Job Location:
 Mumbai / Bengaluru, India

Required Skillset:
The successful candidate will possess the following competencies:

 2 -3 years of DevOps experience maintaining applications and services on AWS/any other


cloud
 Experience with Open Source based DevOps tools for metrics-based monitoring solutions
(Prometheus, Graphite), Log Management (ELK, or similar), Container Management (Docker,
or similar), Escalations Management (Pagerduty, or similar)
 Demonstrated experience with Linux (Centos, ubuntu) and Windows operating system and
with Databases Mongo, MySQL etc.
 Experience with Configuration / Infrastructure automation and using CI-CD (Git, Jira,
Bitbucket, Maven, Jenkins & Jenkins X)
 Shown experience with Windows-ansible, Shell scripting (Bash).
 Knowledge of Python and Go programming languages and with monitoring toolset
(Prometheus, Monit and CloudWatch)
 Knowledge of Elasticsearch, Logstash and Kibana for Centralized monitoring or other use
case is ideal
 Experience with Nginx / HAproxy / Iptables and Linux Administration pref erred
 Some experience with Docker and Kubernetes (AWS EKS, Kops) preferred
 Basic knowledge of SQL / No SQL/Time Series databases a plus
 Experience in agile and SCRUM methodologies
 Experience in developing applications for transportation and logistics industry a plus
