A. Profile of directors:

If we go through the profile of directors in the Financial Year 2016-17, the Directors are almost
the same as that of the Financial Year 20115-16 apart from some of them have completed their
term of service, and some of them have stepped down from their respective posts. We can see the
Directors are well educated, experienced and have been working with the company for the long
time. If the Directors are well educated and promoted over a long period of time, it directly gives
a clear indication about the philosophy of the company. It tells us that the company is stable and
well established because if the company is not stable, the Directors will always want to not
indulge in that conspiracy and start leaving the company. But that is not the case with IL&FS
because all the Directors are well educated and working for a long time with the company.

B. Director’s Report:

All the points mentioned in the directors report some of the them are as follows:

1. Financial results:
As we can see in the financial result presented by the directors, the profits took a turnaround as
in the last year the profits are declining but in this year the profits have increased but by meagre
6.29 percent
