PROCEDURE: Please Refer Video of Deflection of Beam Experiment and Read Procedures in

This lab experiment aims to determine the deflection of simply supported beams with concentrated point loads. Students used beams of different spans, heights, widths and materials to test deflection under increasing loads. They recorded actual and theoretical deflection values in tables and were to analyze the relationship between load and deflection by plotting graphs and checking the accuracy of experimental results. Based on their findings, students were to conclude on how deflection was measured and the effects of increased loads on beam deflection.
