Beam Longitudinal Section: Moment Diagram

This document presents the design calculations for reinforcing a concrete beam. It includes the load calculations, moment diagrams, and design of the main reinforcement. The beam is subjected to a 25 kN point load at each end. The maximum bending moment is -50 kNm^2 at the center. The required steel is calculated to be 3 bars of 20mm diameter based on the moment capacity and steel ratio. Stirrups of 10mm diameter are specified at 40mm spacing. Drawings show the beam cross section and reinforcement details.
