6.5x47 Lapua
The 6.5x47 Lapua is a caliber for serious competi-
tion target shooting. Lapua developed it together
with a Swiss rifle manufacturer Grünig & Elmiger.
The caliber chamber dimensions are optimized for
target bullets.

Accuracy:
The high pressure level (4350 bar / 63090 psi) and optimized
powder capacity enable high velocity and flat trajectory, and
together with a low wind drift make the cartridge excep-
tionally accurate. A wide selection of factory loaded bullets
promise excellent results. The barrel twist of the 6.5x47 Lapua
ensures a very low barrel wear.
