Reflection:
In this lesson, I taught them 2D/3D shapes especially in this lesson
students learned the difference between 2D/3D shapes exploration and
play. I introduce the lesson by played a shape song on the interactive
whiteboard. I asked students which shape they noticed and what did they
learn about it (KWL strategy). I told the students what will learn about
shapes with fun games. After that, I did a warmer activity - I showed them
a sphere and circle and asked them what is the difference between them.
finally, divided students into groups depending on their level
( differentiation). After that, they started activity centers after I told them
instructions about how to do each of the activities. While they starting their
activities I walked around them to check their works and asked them
questions that help me to check their understanding. At the end of the
lesson, I asked them to present their works on the front of the class. The
strength points of this lesson are use a verity of activities, use
differentiation strategy ,present the concept of the 2D and 3D shapes
through PowerPoint But the weakness points of this lesson are time
management and grammatical mistakes.
