BIM implementation has different stages, as shown in Figure 5 and Table 2. The methodology maintains manual
implementation principles from the BIM soft landscaping, BIM manual and BIM protocols issued by the UK and ISO
19650 and other standards related to process. With respect to above standard and methodological recommendations,
templates, and guides of the “BIM Handbook” and the “Project Execution Planning Guide” while expanding and
adapting the same for SEC. The TSPEP-PH4 is more involved in the beginning and towards the end of the project as
seen from the Table 2, whist the Lead Appointed Parties are heavily involved within the core of the process with the
Appointed Party (AP) supporting throughout being more involved within the production and delivery stages. All
activities are further detailed on upcoming pages.
KEO was appointed as Owner BIM consultant (understanding the information management according to cl. 5.1.1 of
ISO19650-2:2018) for MOW as a LAP who are responsible for BIM adopting with RIBA plan of work (POW).
