According to Inquirer “Pokwang, a comedian gives free sandwiches for uniformed personnels,
soldiers and other health workers”. While Luzon is under “Enhanced Community Quarantine”, Pokwang
is making sandwiches and giving water for the people helping the quarantine work.

Meanwhile, other celebrities have already helped out. This includes Marlon Peroramas also
known as “Loonie”, a hip-hop star, handing out some food(instant noodles, canned goods etc.) and
sanitary items for the enforcers and other helpers for the quarantine.He even made a song entitled as
“Kapit Lang”,to give hope for people who are worrying about the virus spreading. Neri Naig and Chito
Miranda,closed their store and donated foods and water for the health workers in Tagaytay City.

There are 142 cases of COVID-19 in the Philippines while 12 have died the other day, March 16.
While 3 of them have recovered from the virus. As of March 17,2020 6:00 pm the virus here in the
Philippines have grown by 45 and now have 187 cases.
