    General Notes
    • For the academic year, 2019 – 2020, the core teaching and learning resources include
    Student’s Book, Work Book, Class CDs, Teacher’s Book and Tests.
    • To ensure full coverage of the new learning standards, all the exercises in the Student’s
    Book should be covered in class.
    • Make use of the Work Book for the purposes of consolidation and formative
    assessment.
    • It is essential to exploit the reference section materials at the back of the book for
    reinforcement and learning support (Grammar Reference, Speaking Activities, Writing
    Reference and Project Skills).
    • Make the best use of the Teacher’s Book, which includes an introduction, step by step
    instruction and model answers for all SB and WB activities.
    • Teachers may add, omit or modify the order of items and /or activities in the Tests
    section according to the needs of their students.
    • Some parts of Module 3 are included while some parts of Module 4 are excluded (see
    the table below)
    • For the effective implementation of competencies, refer to the introduction of the
    Teacher’s Book.
