Context:
The reason I am teaching this particular lesson is because I want to be able to help my students in
understanding and remembering what they read from a text. But what comes before this lesson in
the larger unit is for my students to be able to read and comprehend what they read first, and so
that is where there knowledge in being able to comprehend what the text is saying for them to be
able to understand and remember what they read from the text. After that lesson students will be
given an assignment that will test them on there comprehension skills, this assignment will
involve students reading a text and then answering questions that talks about the text that they
read. What I am teaching in order to prepare students for the next lesson topic is teaching them
the best way into learning how to remember a text and what they learned from it.
Data:
Students will be put into groups of three in this lesson, there grouping will be based on how well
they are able to comprehend the assignment or if some are having a hard time comprehending the

good at and what they need help on, the data will be written down or taken down on a computer

and teach with them on anything that they need help on or anything that they already know and
by doing that it will help me determine on what works best for my students so they will be better
in understanding the classwork and homework that is given to them.
Collaborative (5-10 minutes): Students will have time to work in groups at a computer or

Rationale:
(https://www.education.com/game/jack-and-the-beanstalk-reading-comp/):
I chose this as a multimedia because students love playing games and to have fun
and i chose this as an muiltimeadia because of that exactly. It’s a fun educational
game where students can learn but also have fun at the same time. It supports my
standards and objective because it involves for students to read a story and then the
game consist of questions about what you read and if you get them correct you can
play a game as well.
(https://www.education.com/game/fox-top-reading-comprehension/):
This is multimedia because it involves gaming on a computer or tablet. It supports
students learning with the standards and learning objectives because it involves for
students to be able to understand what they are about to read from a text that is given to
them. This multi media choice differentiate instruction for all learners because students
have to actually take there time and read what is given to them as they should always do
when given an assignment.
