Sierra's lesson gave evidence to her belief of social justice and equity and fairness for all students. Her lesson include not only a visual method, displaying vocabulary words, having a wait time for
students to speak them out lead, as she had instructed, then speaking the words herself, along with giving them the definition. What connected the learning was her use of using real world examples
to make the word come alive in a manner that children are sure to understand. She implored them to listen carefully. She also incorporated humor; "pretty hard to say that 3 times, huh? "It can be
kinda tricky." She relates to the student who has to learn the vocabulary and make the words a part of their vocabulary bank.

Sierra's tone was very inviting and quite frankly, during the lesson, it was as though you were in the classroom but without the visual of her face. She created a very inviting and positive online
environment that took into account various levels of Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs; self esteem & love and belonging. Which are very important in assisting students functioning in our current norm
of sheltering in.

Sierra supports curiosity in her students, a guiding question is provided and remains on the screen throughout the lesson; "Why did Poppy choose to travel through Dimwood Forest instead of taking
a different route?" The question will cause reflection and wonder in the student's mind. Their minds will seek the answer to the guiding question as the audio version of the story is read. You can
hear Sierra turning the page as she instructs students to do the same. She pauses at various intervals to clarify what is occurring and give details. She uses the cursor to keep the student focused
on areas that they should be on task on.
