The Intelligent All-round Lift


We have good news for you who have already realized that the Viking series is the most modern and
user-friendly series of mobile lifts in the world. Viking M has been further developed and marks the
start of a new way of working with lifts: intelligent, functional, and safe!
The new control box contains the innovative Liko Diagnostic System™, the source of the intelligence.
Among other things, the system tells you how you have used the lift and when it is time for service.
This enables you to evaluate your lifting needs and use the lift as smartly and safely as possible.
The wireless handcontrol makes working with the lift easier and more functional. The patient gets
a greater sense of safety when you can work close by and unhindered. As extra security the lift can
always be manoeuvred directly from the control box.
The environmental aspect is also important to mention. The lift is manufactured
from strong aluminium which in principle can be recycled an unlimited number of
times. Furthermore, this gives a low weight and functional advantages. The battery
has a smart charging indicator which always can be read. In addition the more
user-friendly NiMH technology is used.
Considering Function, Safety and Environment
The basic construction behind Viking™ is built on 30 years of
experience of lifting people in healthcare.
The entire Viking family, which consists of several lifts in
different sizes and with different features, is manufactured of
aluminium. This means that they have a lower weight than
corresponding products of steel, which makes them easier to
operate. Aluminium is environmentally friendly, since it in
principle can be recycled an unlimited number of times.
A Viking consists of up to 40% recycled aluminium.
Furthermore, aluminium products do not rust.
The light, rechargeable battery is driven by forceful NiMH
technology, which is better for the environment than other
commonly available batteries. The battery on Viking M also has
a smart charging indicator which can indicate current charging
status at all times, even when the battery is not connected to
the lift. The batteries have built-in discharge protection, which The new control box contains the Liko Diagnostic System™
means that they are not damaged if completely discharged. which informs you as to how the lift is used in reality,
information which indicates your needs. It enables you to
adapt your lift solution for best function and best possible
total economy.

The wireless handcontrol gives the nursing staff and the patient
a closer and more functional lift, as there is no risk of cables
interfering. The handcontrol has two lifting speeds and can be
used for different lifts on the ward.

Viking M has been tested by an accredited testing institute and complies with the requirements for Medical Device Directive Class I products
(MDD 93/42/EEC).

Viking M complies with the requirements in IEC 60601-1, IEC 60601-1-2, EN ISO 10535, UL-60601-1 and CAN/CSA C22.2 No. 601.1.
