Education
President and founder of the European Culture Club 2010-2011; Vice-President 2011-2012.
Updating and maintaining current information with Student Government, presided over meetings,
organized events, served as information link and liaison between the European Culture Club and other
organizations.
Created and distributed weekly newsletters regarding European current events.
Taught three sections of German 1010 Fall 2016, four times per week for 50 minutes per class
period. Responsibilities in addition to solo class instruction included grading of quizzes and exams and
holding weekly office hours
Conducted weekly Coffee Hour for free discussion in German for all levels of fluency.

Engaged in Pedagogical Theory through staff meetings with Dr. Jany and fellow graduate TAs as well
as participation in coursework in applied linguistics and teaching methodology, complementing
work instructing undergraduate German courses. Created lesson plans for language instruction and a

Served as a Machine Judge at the O’Connell Middle School voting precinct during the 2010 elections.
Volunteered to judge the 2013 National History Day student submissions in Greeley, CO.
Volunteers to assist the preservation of the Resort Valley Ranch land and wildlife conservation project, helping to
find and remove invasive plant species such as thistle and sage, maintain irrigation creeks, and observe forest health
by looking for signs of pine beetle infestation
