 Taught three sections of German 1010 Fall 2016, four times per week for 50 minutes per class
period. Responsibilities in addition to solo class instruction included grading of quizzes and exams and
holding weekly office hours
 Conducted weekly Coffee Hour for free discussion in German for all levels of fluency.
 Taught two sections of German 1010 Spring 2017
 Engaged in Pedagogical Theory through staff meetings with Dr. Jany and fellow graduate TAs as well
as participation in coursework in applied linguistics and teaching methodology, complementing

 Taught three recitations for Icelandic Sagas Fall 2018, 50-minute class periods once per week
focused on analytical and critical discussion of secondary and primary sources related to history,
society and culture, and fictional narratives of Viking Age and Medieval Iceland
 Creates lesson plans for recitation portion of course based on Dr. Crawford’s lectures and weekly
readings
 In addition to grading short-answer midterms and final exams, responsibilities include holding weekly
office hours.
